PT.KBI - Thursday (8/24/2023) | Krakatau Baja Industri (KBI), together with PT. Krakatau Steel Group, held an event for the handover of the keys to the 5th habitable house in the first phase to Abdul Yadi, a resident of Bumi Waras Community RT.03/RW 03, Tamansari Village, Pulomerak District, Cilegon City on August 24, 2023.

In 2023, PT KS and the Group aim to renovate houses to make them habitable, targeting a total of 100 houses across the municipality of Cilegon, spanning 43 neighborhoods.

Hopefully, through this Social and Environmental Responsibility (SaER) program, it can help improve the well-being of the residents around the city of Cilegon.

PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk and its Group conducted the distribution of ied-adha animals on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, with a total value of Rp2.42 billion. The event took place at the Krakatau Steel Training Center area and was attended by the Mayor of Cilegon, Helldy Agustian, the Director of Infrastructure and Business Support of Krakatau Steel, Djoko Muljono, along with the management team, the Board of Directors of the Krakatau Steel Group, the Board of Directors of joint ventures and affiliates of Krakatau Steel, as well as the local community leaders (Lurah) of Cilegon.

This year, Krakatau Steel and its Group distributed sacrificial animals consisting of 49 cows, 4 buffaloes, and 194 goats, which will be distributed to 8 districts and 43 sub-districts in the city of Cilegon.

Furthermore, Helldy expressed his hope that in the following year, the distribution of ied-adha animals can be more evenly spread so that the act of sharing can have a more significant meaning. Krakatau Steel and its Group are committed to providing the best for the people of Cilegon.

Along with the distribution, a sacrificial animal was also presented on behalf of Mr. Silmy Karim, former President Director of Krakatau Steel. It is a Limousin cow that will be handed over to the Cilegon City Government for slaughter at the Cilegon Grand Mosque.

In conclusion, Purwono expressed his hope that the distribution of sacrificial animals through the synergy and collaboration of Krakatau Steel and its Group will benefit the people of Cilegon and bring blessings to Krakatau Steel and its Group. Amen.
